SOK and SAN, two respectable peasants, have a son (NY) and a daughter (SORIN). SORIN works hard in her parents' fields but she leaves her home and goes out regularly when night falls. Some believe that SORIN joins her lover every night, So SOK and SAN decide to send SORIN to their district temple where she can join the orders and become a nun and at there, SORIN sends an ultimate might of love with the ghost of her late husband, SORYAVONG. when she dies, the very elderly nun SORIN joins SORYAVONG for ever in the life.
