Sith and Phuong loved each other ever since they were kids. But Phuong’s father doesn’t like Sith and wants to marry his daughter to another man called Den. Sith depends on sugar palm trees for his living, which makes his life condition very difficult. So a friend of his suggests that he takes part in a singing contest in Phnom Penh. Sith wins the first prize and becomes a very famous singer.
