Famous photographer and cinematographer Yann Arthus Bertrand has shot beautiful images of Cambodia in December. This shots will be part of his film project entitled HUMAN.
The filming has been facilitated by the Apsara Authority, the UNESCO and the Cambodia Film Commission.
Yann Arthus‐Bertrand has devoted his life to protecting the Earth and raising awareness about sustainable development issues. Along with his foundation, The GoodPlanet Foundation, he works on countless humanitarian and environmental projects. His true commitment led him to be a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Environment Programme. This honour he was conferred strengthen his dedication and will to protect the Earth and defend the people of our planet for it is essential to show the intimate connection between Man and his environment.
Yann Arthus‐Bertrand has always dedicated his work towards raising awareness by touching people through Beauty. His new movie, Human , continues this approach showing the mutual Beauty of the people and the Earth.
Human is a non‐profit film that will be broadcasted globally in theaters around the world but also on worldwide channels. The film will also be available on the Internet and on DVDs. The film is to be released during the spring of 2015.
YAB has shot aerial pictures of Siem Reap (especially the Angkor Temples) as well as over the great Tonle Sap Lake. In Cambodia, the project has been serviced by Bophana Production.
