SHIIKU, THE CATCH is the new feature by world famous french-cambodian director Rithy Panh. Shooting took place between december 2010 and february 2011.
The film produced by Catherine Dussart (CDP Production) and Bophana Production has been shot in the Siem Reap region with a nearly 100% local crew with the support of the Cambodia Film Commission.
The film has been selected and Premiered at the 2011 Tokyo International Film Festival in the Panorama of Asia – Middle East section. It has been Premiered in Cambodia during the 2nd Cambodia International Film Festival (www.cambodia-iff.com).
