Language	The official language is Khmer English is often spoken in big cities; French is mostly spoken by the older generations
Religion	Buddhism is the state religion and followed by the majority of Cambodians. Muslims (Chams) are the largest religious minority. Other minority groups include Hindus and Christians.
Ethnic composition	90-95% Khmer Ethnic Minorities: Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Lao, Tai, Chams, Phnong, Mnong, Tampuan, Kuy, Stieng. Large western expats community including French, Australian, Swiss, Americans, Russians.
Currency	Khmer Riel (USD 1 = 4000 riels approximately) USD are commonly used in all transactions
