After the prince Preah Chan Korup finished his studies with the hermit, he asks his teacher to return to his palace. The hermit gives him 2 objects; a bow and a small box but it prohibits Preah Chan Korup to open the box on the way. In wonder what exists in the box, the prince opens it by the way, then he sees a beautiful girl, that’s Mara, she is a girl created by the hermit. He marries Mara. Because of his disobedience, Mara betrays the prince, killss him and then cohabits a bandit. Afterwards, Mara is cursed by Indra. She becomes the gibbon…
