Japanese Film Festival (JFF) Is Back in Town

Presented by Japan Foundation and co-organized by the Embassy of Japan, Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts and Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center, Japanese Film Festival will be taking place from 09 to 12 November 2017.

12 selected films will be screened at two venues, Major Cineplex AEON Mall and Legend Cinema TK Avenue over the course of 4 days of the festival. Below is the list of those films:

  5. ReLIFE
  6. Rudolf the Black Cat
  7. Survival Family
  8. Tora-san of Goto
  9. MUMON

  11. Her Love Boils Bathwater
  12. Asian Three-Fold Mirror 2016: Reflections




The spotlight of this festival is the screening of Asian Three-Fold Mirror 2016: Reflections, the first Asian omnibus series production by the Japan Foundation Asia Center and Tokyo International Film Festival. This project brings together the three renowned directors, Isao Yukisada from Japan, Sotho Kulikar from Cambodia and Brillante Ma Mendoza from the Philippines. Under one theme "Living Together in Asia", the movie depicts the hard work of cast and crew across national boarder for the life journey between Japan and Cambodia, the Philippines and Malaysia.
