In Cambodia during the 1960s, general MCHULPICH, commander of Royal Cambodian Armed Forces based in Siem Reap and Kompong Thom betrays his nation, by becoming an ally of America. To stop MCHULPICH’s ambition, the commanding officer of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces assigns admiral Prince DHANARI as head of counterespionage. The prince who recently has been posted has a problem with his car on the way to Phnom Penh. Fortunately, H.E. the British Ambassador helps take good care of him. The prince, who is known for criticizing American imperialism, and has counterespionage duties, investigates everything around him without being suspected. During a ceremony at Angkor, the prince is very surprised that a high agent of the CIA, a captain of the South Vietnamese army, and other ambassadors visiting H.E the British Ambassador all sit at the same table. Three accomplices hide some weapons in the Bayon temple in order to overthrow the government. A few hours after the arrival of the American and Vietnamese soldiers, the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces get rid of these traitors. H.E the British Ambassador, who shares some responsibility for the unsuccessful coup, feels ashamed and decides to return to her country.
